COMPASS 2025 CET & SHAPE REVIEW PROGRAM

The Compass 2025 College Entrance Test (CET) and Senior High Admission and Placement Exam (SHAPE) Review Program is a COMPETENT review authority for students who are preparing to apply in any of the Big Four Universities in the country: Ateneo, De La Salle, University of Santo Tomas, and the University of the Philippines (for College only).

Known for its COMPREHENSIVE coverage of topics students will have to deal with in the exams, the review program is carefully designed to provide an optimal and well-structured preparation and a simulated experience of the actual exam to students. The program also includes college application webinars and career consultation to ensure that students receive COMPLETE guidance during their COMPASS review journey!

Before students start their review classes, they will be taking the Diagnostic Mock Tests, whose goal is to provide students with the simulated experience of the actual exams and to gauge their readiness before they begin with the Compass Camp. The questions in the Diagnostic Mock Tests are structured according to the questions in the actual tests and administered within a time limit so that students feel as if they were taking the actual tests!

Once the Diagnostic Mock Tests are completed, students will have to wait for the start of their Compass Camp, whose schedule they choose during the enrollment. The Compass Camp aims to give students a comprehensive training that will equip them with proper skills and knowledge in order to ace the entrance exams of the Big Four Universities. The camp training consists of asynchronous and synchronous lectures, exercises, and evaluation mock tests with subsequent discussions.

During the synchronous classes, most lessons in the lecture books are discussed by the program’s well-trained and passionate teachers. After each lecture, students answer the exercises in their workbooks to apply what they have learned. Students are also tasked to watch the asynchronous lectures through our learning portal Compass Hub for Exam Review (CHER) where they can also access other review resources such as the practice and summative tests.

Once the days of synchronous classes are over, students are encouraged to sign up for the Evaluation Mock Tests, the second simulated tests administered to students. The result of the exam will be compared to the results of their Diagnostic Mock Tests to gauge their progress. The mock tests will be followed by a series of discussions of the answers for selected exam questions.

Once the Compass Camp is over, students will have to face the challenge of retaining all the information from their sync and async lectures. Hence, the review program holds the Final Mock Tests, the third simulated tests students need to take to remain well-adjusted to the exam environment before the actual exams. Then, there will be subsequent discussions of the questions from the mock tests so that students have the opportunity to recall their lessons. (Students enrolled in Cebu review classes can avail the Final Mock Tests for an additional fee.)
